Baby Emerson – First Portrait Session
Photographing a newborn baby is always a special treat! Baby Emerson was born 6 weeks ago. She stayed awake for half of the shoot before we cooed her to sleep so we could get fingers and toes shots.

Just heard this back from Emerson’s mama:
“I just wanted to let you know that I got my prints back of Emerson and they turned out GREAT! Thank you so much, they really are exactly what I wanted! Thanks again!”
Mary & Douglas’ Wedding { 02.14.08 }
Mary and Douglas were married on Valentines Day at Charleston’s gorgeous William Aiken House. Melissa from A Charleston Bride put together an elegant Valentine-inspired event for the happy couple. Guests enjoyed an intimate candle-lit dinner before heading outside for some after-dinner drinks and dancing.

Sooyeon & Marc’s Wedding { 02.02.08 }
Sooyeon and Marc couldn’t have asked for a lovelier February day for their multi-cultural wedding which was planned to perfection by event coordinator, Carrie Glascock, of A Charleston Bride. I met Sooyeon in the morning where her mother was lovingly dressing her in the traditional Korean Wedding dress she had carefully packed and brought with her from Korea. As their evening ceremony at Alhambra Hall approached, Sooyeon switched to a beautiful white wedding gown which she wore down the isle. Later in the night, as the band picked up, the couple slipped away and came running back in to cut their cake in their traditional Korean garb.

Just heard this back from Sooyeon and Marc:
“Heather, we just returned from our wonderful honeymoon. The pictures that you took were beautiful and we believe that they captured the spirit and emotion of our wedding. We are so glad that you were our photographer for this memorable day. We will certainly recommend you in the future.”
