Bridal Portrait – Jane
A little rain didn’t stop this bride for her bridal portrait. After going back and forth all week Jane and I decided to go ahead on her bridal portrait. As soon as we showed up on location on Daniel Island the rain started softly falling. Offering to reschedule and try again, Jane opted to work around the rain! We shot on a beautiful brick porch and then after the rain cleared up we strolled around the island shooting against its elegant natural backdrops. In the end, we both agreed the rich cool evening made for a great shoot!

Just heard this back from Jane:
“They are wonderful. I’m so thrilled with them. I love how natural many of them seem and I think that the crazy wind, the weather, and the awful bugs actually added to them. I’m so, so happy. I can’t wait to look at them again when I have more time to study them in detail.
THANK YOU!!!”
Melanie – Maternity Portrait
I absolutely love doing maternity portraits – I love round pregnant bellies. Benjamin Franklin once said “A ship under sail and a big-bellied woman are the handsomest two things that can be seen common.” I couldn’t agree with him more. Melanie and her husband Sean are expecting their first TWO! Melanie is pregnant with two identical girls – her belly is really one of the most beautiful bellies!
