We made this guest sign in canvas for bride and groom Elizabeth and Basil. The photo is a nightscape shot from the veranda of the Rice Mill where their reception was held. The canvas was placed where guests could look out over the same landscape while they signed their name onto the canvas. Loved it!

I’m just sitting here editing away at my first Spring wedding – Elizabeth and Basil’s gorgeous wedding this last weekend. When I came to this image I just got so excited about the busy Spring I have ahead of me! Images like this make me just so happy to be able to do what I do in the city I do! This was taken outside Saint Luke’s chapel right after Elizabeth and Basil said I Do!

Just checking in? We’re 40 into the countdown of 50 Fabulous Colorful Kisses. They are in no particular order – they’re just 50 of my favorite bride and groom kisses from 2009! Some of them are full-on smooches – while others are those sweet-almost-kissing lips-about-to-touch-emotionally-charged-moments! (I love those!) I met up with Fall bride and groom, Julie and Zac for a fun-filled e-session downtown Charleston. We started the shoot at The William Aiken House where the two will have their reception in October. I love every tiny space within this gorgeous historic home – every room and window treatment, veranda and garden nook is amazing! We then headed around town a bit and ended the evening down by the the South Carolina Aquarium.
